What is the CCMS?

CCMS stands for the Client and Costs Management System and was introduced by the Legal Aid Agency (LAA). The system enables legal aid providers to manage and oversee their application to the LAA in England and Wales. Fee earners, Costs Draftsmen, Costs Lawyers, legal aid providers, and other agents assigned to handle legal aid cases can utilise this system.

The CCMS is a secure and efficient platform that helps providers do a number of things related to applications, including submitting applications, managing client information, tracking the progress of a case, and submitting bills for payment.
